Join the 2026 Spring Collegiate Pickleball and Cultural Exchange Program!
ISCEA promotes cultural exchange between collegiate pickleball student athletes through joint training, landmark exploration, and a friendly tournament in China.
Program Details
March 7–March 15, 2026.
Travel, cuisine, sightseeing, and pickleball activities are included throughout the week.
Local expenses in China (lodging, food, and intercity travel) are fully covered for student athletes and coaches.
Who We’re Looking For
Each university team should include 10 players and up to 3 waitlisted players (if applicable). Players are ideally rated 3.0 and above. ISCEA aims to recruit approximately 30 total collegiate players for this exchange program.

Q & A
Who can join?
U.S. college students who enjoy pickleball. All skill levels are welcome (3.0+ preferred). In addition, the program will include a competitive tournament at the final stop in Sichuan, and 4.5+ level players are especially welcome to participate.
How many spots are available?
About 30 total spots. No limit per school.
When is the trip?
March 7–15, 2026
What does it cost?
Students cover airfare, visa, and registration fee (about $2,000 total). All in-China costs (hotels, food, local transportation, matches, training, and cultural activities) are covered by local funding partner.
Who is funding the trip?
In-China expenses are supported by colleges, local tennis & pickleball associations, pickleball clubs, and equipment manufacturers in China, working together to promote the sport and cultural exchange.
What will we do in China?
Play pickleball with Chinese university teams
Friendly matches & training sessions
Cultural activities and city visits
This is a real sports + cultural exchange, not just sightseeing.
Do I need a visa?
Yes. You’ll apply for a China visa with guidance provided after confirmation.
What if my visa is denied?
If your visa is not approved, all program fees will be refunded except the non-refundable embassy visa fee.
Is travel insurance required?
While not mandatory, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Participants are responsible for selecting appropriate coverage based on their personal circumstances.
How do I apply?
Application submission: January 1–20, 2026 with google form JAN. 2026
Transition period(extend for school open week): Jan,19-25th
Confirmation: January 21–31, 2026

Do I have to promote anything?
No. There are no promotional or media obligations.
